Tow line

Tow line for wheelchair users during walks in the woods

Description
A line is tied to the wheelchair’s foot bar with a bowline, which is easy to tie and untie (see photos 2 and 3). The line is about 3 meters long. A wooden handle is attached to the other end of the line. When the user is out in the woods with his wife she pulls him with the line over uneven ground and on steep slopes.

Authors comments
The user’s wife feels it is uncomfortable to push the wheelchair. She gets back pain. She feels it is much easier to pull. The line cannot be much shorter, or the wheelchair would be lifted up. The user always has the line with him.
