Scale for person who sits in wheelchair

H-shaped wooden stand on a bathroom scale
H-shaped wooden stand on a bathroom scale

Made of wood. Weighs both the wheelchair and the person sitting in it. The stand is placed on an ordinary bathroom scale (the scale is positioned under the middle of the stand). Wheel the wheelchair backwards up onto the stand until it can’t go any farther (“stop block”).

Users comments
This stand was made by the user and his father. The “stop blocks” are positioned so that no part of the stand touches the floor. It works best with an analogue scale so that you don’t have to touch the scale to start it.

The user also has a scale that he hangs from his personal lift, see associated tips.
