A device to help pick objects up from the floor for people with disabilities and impaired hand function.

Device consists of aquarium net with metal edging and modified passive handle and forearm support

Large aquarium net with adapted passive handle and forearm support. One edge of the net is fitted with metal edging similar to edging on a dustpan.

The person lives together with his wife and an child in a house. He is working part time. He was injured in 1975 and has a high tetraplegia (C5). Through hand surgery his grip function improved in both hands. He has personal assistance 7 hours a day.
