Mechanical elevator opener
An emergency solution that makes it possible for a user in a wheelchair with impaired hand function to open the elevator door from the inside, if this should not occur automatically
Elevator opener made of orthotic material
An opener is shaped from orthotic material that fits exactly into the elevator twist knob. If the door does not open automatically when the user sits in the elevator, she can use the elevator door twist knob with the help of the specially designed opener. The opener hangs on a cord inside the elevator and is therefore always accessible.
