User transfers from car to wheelchair
A small homemade transfer mat is used during transfers. The user uses it for transfers in and out of the car and for all other transfers. The transfer mat is placed on the wheelchair wheel to avoid chafing.
The transfer mat is made out of the lining of an old winter jacket.

The idea for the mat arose when the user realized that there weren’t any transfer mats available that were small enough to pack in an ordinary bag.
