To prevent the hand from falling outwards a metal loop sits against the back of the hand and holds the hand against the joystick. The user&#8217;s arm is fixed in place with a cradle that sits together with the control device.<\/p>\n<p>Before the user drives the car he folds up the side support of the wheelchair so that it is not in the way of the car&#8217;s armrest.
