The sock has heating coils in the calf, above the foot and around the toes. The socks come with a battery pack.<br \/>\nThe user has two extra battery packs that she brings with her when she is out all day.<br \/>\nUsed when riding a sitski or sled.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bkom\"><strong>Users comments<\/strong><br \/>\nBattery pack is intended to sit on the belt. The user feels it is in the way. She keeps the battery pack in her jacket pocket. Note: It is important for people with impaired sensation to check that the socks do not get too hot. Also make sure the cables sit properly.<br \/>\nThe controls are a disadvantage. There are two versions. One only has an on\/off button. It can easily become too hot. On the other the heat can be regulated.
