From there he transfers to the wheelchair using a long hard sliding board.<br \/>\nThe sliding board is homemade. It is a 2 cm thick and 20 cm wide wooden board. One short side is beveled.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bkom\"><strong>Users comments<\/strong><br \/>\nThe user cannot get up from the floor to the wheelchair on his own. However, he can move around on the floor on his bottom and pull himself up the stairs. He came up with this solution to avoid having to call the municipality with the security alarm.
