This invention enables him to empty the bag by himself.
The invention consists of a long hose cut from a night urine bag that is connected to the urine bag, a white cone from a day bag (removable), a valve (Bard valve), and finally a 15 cm long hose (inside diameter 10 mm) from a hardware store.
The entire system is attached to the wheelchair, where the user can easily reach it. He picks up the tube, opens the valve and empties the bag outdoors or in a floor drain in the shower.

Users comments
The user wears his urine bag on the inside of his leg, which allows him to see when it’s time to empty the bag.
Each evening he flushes the system with water and wipes it down with alcohol. He replaces the entire system about every two weeks.

The user chose the Bard valve because it is easy to handle. The last piece of tube has a sharp edge and prevents drops from coming on the outside.

Made by
The user

Paid for by
The user

Whose idea
The user

Emptying system attached to wheelchair

User opens valve

Accessories for emptying system (tube from night bag, cone, Bard valve and extra tube)

‘Emptying system’ attached to urine bag

"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false
[319
463
post-3421","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-tips-about-toileting-19","tag-authors_v7","et-has-post-format-content","et_post_format-et-post-format-standard
["GET
