Three steps lead from a patio built on the garage into the upper floor of the house. The entrance was adapted so the user can get in and out with assistance:
– The stairs were moved outward from the house to make room for a platform in front of the front door
– two wooden planks separated by the wheelchair’s wheel distance were nailed to the stairs.

Users comments
Since the user has assistance and does not use the patio so often (the house has another patio that is more accessible) she doesn’t mind going in and out with assistance.
