A cat leash can be attached to a loop in the waistband of the child’s pants.
When Erika goes out alone with the child in areas that are dangerous for children, such as streets and parks with ponds, she sometimes uses a cat leash as an extra precaution so that the child cannot run away.

Erika lives in a house together with her partner and two infants. She is working part time. In 1994 she was injured and has a low tetraplegia (C7). Sometimes she uses help provided by the local government when she is going out with her children.
