Ambu bag

The bag valve mask is an air chamber made of silicone that can be connected to a tracheotomy if the ventilator does not work or the battery dies. Assistants can blow air into the user’s lungs by pressing on the bag.
A plastic strap is available as an accessory to hang the bag valve mask from a hook or similar.

The user has a small convenient model that can be compressed when it is not in use.

The user always has the bag valve mask along. It is packed in a bag on the wheelchair. She also has one placed next to the bed.
