The user had an ordinary door with a window installed next to the adjustable electric garage door. On the inside of the hinged side he mounted a reel. In this way, he can hook the door open from the inside and simply pull the door toward himself by grabbing the loop of the hasp.

Users comments
Since electricity is necessary for the garage door to operate, the user would not be able to come out in the event of a power failure. He therefore hired someone to install an extra door with a window, which could be opened manually and let in light.
