Garage with ramp to the door

The user keeps his minivan in a garage in the house. The level of the garage is one step lower than that of the house. A ramp goes along the garage walls to the door which leads into the house. The user does not drive the car himself.

The idea was that the user would be able to come from the car directly into the house. But the car is so large that it fills the entire garage and the user does not get around the car in order to come to the door to the house. The way it is set up now he has to get out of the car before it is driven into the garage.
One solution is to expand the space in front of the door with a wood grating along the long side of the garage. The car could be backed into the garage and the car ramp placed directly on the ramp structure that leads to the door of the house.
