The user has a Chrysler minivan with lowered floor and lift platform on the side. The modification consists of a swivel driver’s seat, modified steering wheel, hand controls for accelerator and brake, see related tip.
Buttons for turn signals, etc., are built into the headrest. Gear lever is standard.

It is important for the user to use the original equipment as far as possible. He prefers mechanical solutions to electronic solutions.

Max is studying. He lives by himself in an apartment. In 2002 he was injured and has a high tetraplegia (C5 incomplete with remaining sensitivity). He has personal assistance 13 hours a day.
