A sturdy oak plank (20 cm x 80 cm x 2 cm) with beveled short side is used as a sliding board for transfers to and from a car.

Users comments
Previously the user had a long sliding board made of plastic for transfers to and from the car. He did not feel secure with it, because it could bend and push the wheelchair away during a transfer.

The wooden plank he uses is intended for use as a windowsill.
