The user positions himself with the wheelchair at about a 45-degree angle to the car. He begins by moving one leg into the car. Then he moves forward in the wheelchair so that he gets past the wheel. He places one hand on the steering wheel and the other on the wheelchair cushion next to his hip, leans forward and moves into the car. He lifts in his other leg.
