The tea strainer is a metal tube about 2 cm in diameter. The lower part is perforated. On the lower end the tube has a removable cap, on the upper end it is open.

To place tea leaves in the tea strainer, turn it over and use it like a spoon; remove the bottom to empty after use.

It is easy for the user to place the tea leaves in the tea strainer, though she needs help to remove the bottom and to take out the used tea leaves.
