The tray can be folded out of the way on the BabyBjörn highchair. The parent who uses a wheelchair can then “push” the child into the highchair from the side and avoid the relatively heavy lifting straight up that is often required when using other highchairs.

This highchair is fabulous for me and well worth the price. However, meddlesome relatives have to leave the locking mechanism on the tray alone. They’ve almost worn out the button because they don’t really understand how it works. I think it could be a bit tricky for people with impaired hand function.
