The user positions himself with the wheelchair diagonally against the bed, moves forward in the wheelchair to get past the tire, and lifts his feet down to the floor. He places one hand on the bed and the other hand on the wheelchair frame, leans forward, and transfers over.
He may continue in one of two methods:
1. He grasps one leg under the knee and lifts it up onto the bed, then repeats with the other leg.
2. He grasps both legs under the knees, leans backward, and lifts both legs at the same time that he lies down.
