A cordless phone with headset is connected by modem to the computer. The modem dials phone numbers and has functions corresponding with lifting or hanging up the receiver. The computer has software that controls the modem.

Helena’s husband thought of this solution for her workplace which has an analog phone via a switchboard. IP telephony does not work there. The computer is only used to control the modem. Software that controls the modem is not available for purchase.
