The kitchen is elongated and narrow, with counters on both sides. One side is adapted to the user and has a counter installed at a height suitable for her. The large open space between the two lower cabinets allows the wheelchair to slide under. The refrigerator and freezer are next to the counter. The cabinets have smooth-running drawers in which she stores kitchen utensils, dishes, adapted knives, etc.
The standard-height stove, oven, sink, upper and lower cabinets and the dishwasher are on the opposite wall of the kitchen and are used by her assistants. See also associated tip.

The user loves to cook. Her assistants prepare the food by following her directions and she helps as much as she can, by cutting vegetables, etc.
