Bathroom with elevated toilet and sliding door

Sliding doors save room in tight spaces, appropriate for wheelchair users

Elevated toilet and wash basin
Elevated toilet and wash basin

The bathroom has a sliding door. The bathroom also has toilet, washbasin (IFÖ), shower stool and tub. The toilet chair is elevated with a plinth. A small grab bar sits on the wall.

Users comments
The sliding door saves room and makes it easy to enter the bathroom. The hallway outside the bathroom is narrow and an ordinary door would have been in the way. The bathroom itself is not large but it is practical for the user. The levated toilet chair and grab bar facilitate transfers.
The user is completely independent at home.
