Ceiling lift in RV
Ceiling lift with bent U track make transfers possible in RV – suitable for people with extensive disabilities
The lift motor is portable and has an integrated handle. It is always dismantled while the RV is traveling.
Helena and her husband investigated the market to find a suitable ceiling lift for the RV.
The Molift is a compromise. It weighed less than any other lift they found and was also the only one that sat high enough (the RV ceiling height in 195 cm, which is a limitation). The lift is also the only one that can handle such a narrow turn.
The lift is still clumsy and the user would have preferred a more convenient model.
Helena lives together with her husband and two teenage children in a house. She is working part time (75%). Since birth she has a muscular disease with symtoms similar to a high spinal cord lesion. She has personal assistance 24 hours a day.
