A motorboat that serves as a landing craft. This boat does not have the usual benches across it; the fixed seats are spread out in the corners, leaving plenty of free space in the middle of the boat: it is possible to turn around in a wheelchair like the Permobil Max 90. Railings are available as accessories if the coaming feels too low. The Pioner Multi is easiest to board from the beach. The durable hull has metal keels. The ramp is the same thickness as the double-bottom hull (about 20 cm) so an electric wheelchair needs boarding ramps.

Model: Pioner Multi

Users comments
Not many small craft can easily be used by electric wheelchair users.

A life jacket is essential, but instead of the ordinary bulky life jacket, try the inflatable life jackets, which are much more comfortable. They are self-inflating and turn over so the person faces the right way in the water. Inflatable life jackets are available at boating accessory stores, such as Watski or Erlandssons.
