– a technique for people with tetraplegia

Technique for putting a baby down on the floor (Video)

The baby sits on the user’s lap, looking forward. The user holds the baby with both hands under the shoulders and moves it diagonally forward until the child slides down beside him. At the same time he supports himself with one forearm on his lap in order not to lose his balance. Then the user lifts the baby so that the baby ends up in front of him (photo 2), he bends forward and places the baby on the footplates (photo 3). He changes his grip so he is holding the baby by the thighs and puts the baby on the floor (photo 4).
