The custom-designed lift consists of a stainless pivoting boom with handle, a frame, and a motor. The boom is custom-designed according to the user’s husband’s plans, the motor (electric winch) is purchased at Clas Ohlson, the frame and sling are from the health care system.

The user attaches the sling to the frame, her husband controls the lift. When she is in the water she lifts away the front parts of the sling. The rear parts of the sling remain attached so she can pick them up and hook them in place again when she wants to get out of the pool.
